Uttarkashi Tour Overview

Take a walk across a 150 years old wooden bridge (now refurbished) at Gartang gali that was was used as an old trading route with Tibet. Explore Nelong Valley. Visit Mukhwa which is the winter seat of Goddess Ganga. You also get to witness beautiful and old wooden houses of the locals. Mukhwa is also home to a sacred waterfall. Legend has it that during the Pandava’s exile, Arjuna had struck an arrow here to quench his thirst.

Haridwar To Uttarkashi

Start Your Journey from Haridwar. Our Team will Pick you from Haridwar and Travel towards Uttarkashi via Dehradun-Mussoorie. Checkin to Hotel /Guest House at Uttarkhashi. At Evening visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Local Market.

Day 2

Gartang Gali

Gartang Gali Trek is situated at a distance of 90 km from Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand. This is a very old trek route street, which is a rare path made by cutting huge mountains, which is known as Gartang Gali. This bridge was built 150 years ago, which is the trade between China and Barhat Market Uttarkashi. There is a connecting trek route which was closed in 1962 after the Indo China War. But on 20th August it was reopened for trekkers and locals.
